In the midst of tropical plants and from the outdoor terrace, you can enjoy the view over the water landscape and the spectacular exhibition building.
We serve seasonal brasserie cuisine made from regional products as well as sturgeon meat and tropical fruit from our own production.
For lunch we serve six daily menus and during the afternoon we offer a range of cold dishes, desserts and cakes. In the evening we welcome you in our restaurant Esturgeon, where you can choose from our à la carte menu and discover new worlds of taste with caviar snacks and a variety of sturgeon dishes.
We will also be happy to welcome you to the Terrasserie as a guest without visiting the exhibition.
Children also feel at home in the Terrasserie, and the whole facility is wheelchair-accessible.

Tuesday - Saturday from 9 hrs until 23 hrs
(warm meals served from 11.30 hrs until 14 hrs and as from 18 hrs)
Sunday & Monday from 9 hrs until 18 hrs
(warm meals served from 11.30 hrs until 14 hrs, respectively until 15 hrs on Sunday)
The Tropenhaus Frutigen and the restaurants are closed 24 - 25 December 2012. Annual closing: 14 - 24 January 2013
